Almaida Chemicals is a four generation chemical raw materials trading company with our headquarters located in Miami, Fl. (USA). We work with Latin America countries as a whole thru our own offices.
We sell many commodities (solvents, resins, monomers, etc) but we also handle some specialty products for the paint, ink and plastic industries.
We work under three different ways and I would say that 80% of our activities are as Indented agents, 15 % making "triangle" business being the balance of our activities i.e. 5% pure trading (buy and sell) operations. The 2007 Turn Over (Three methods) was USD 4,5 millions.
We are regularly Selling: caustic soda, gliceryne usp, maleic anhydride, methylene chloride, phosphoric acid, soda ash, sodium sulphate, tdi, terbutyl hidroquinone.
We are regularly Buying: dop, citric acid, glacial acetic acid, map dap, phthalic anhidride, potasiumm chloride, sodium benzoate, sodium formiate, styrene monomer. |
